The Botanical Behind the Name
Arctium Lappa, also known as Burdock, grows abundantly around the world (commonly referred to as a “weed”) and is used both as a source of food as well as medicine. It is an excellent herb to detoxify the body by supporting your liver and gallbladder. Arctium’s action as a blood cleanser and digestive tonic makes it effective in clearing skin conditions. But be careful when harvesting or you might end up covered in burrs!
